England have just won a One Day International against Australia at the Riverside ground. This was after being humbled or humiliated in every match they have played in the anti climactic series.

It must be something to do with the beauty of the ground, the Durham air and the passion of the fans but England seem to do very well when they play at Chester-le-Street. As, of course, do County champions Durham.

The moral of the story? England should play at Chester-le-Street far more often!
